Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-22
This Privacy Policy explains what data Brollss collects when you use our browser-based AI video editor, how we use it, and the rights you have. In short: you upload recordings or scripts, we transcribe and process them to generate your edits and B-roll, and we store your media on our infrastructure only to provide the Service. We do not sell your data.
1. Who we are
Brollss is operated by Brollss (legal entity to be confirmed) ("Brollss", "we", "us"). For any privacy question, contact us at legal@brollss.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information: your email address, name, and authentication details needed to create and secure your account.
Content you provide: the video and audio you upload, scripts and transcripts, brand assets, and the projects and outputs you create with the Service.
Usage and technical data: basic logs, device and browser information, and how you interact with features, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Payment information: subscription and credit purchases are handled by our payment processor. We receive limited billing details (such as plan, status, and the last digits or token of a card) but we do not collect or store your full card number.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to: provide the Service (transcribe your media and generate B-roll, images, and suggestions using third-party AI providers, and render and export your video); manage your account, subscription, and credits; provide support and communicate with you about the Service; and maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
We process Your Content to provide the Service to you. We do not use the private content you upload to train our own foundational models.
4. Third-party processors
We share data with service providers only as needed to run the Service, under agreements that require them to protect it. These fall into the following categories: AI model providers (to generate transcripts, images, and motion graphics); transcription / GPU compute providers; cloud storage (our own servers and trusted third-party providers) to store your media; our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) for billing; and email delivery providers for account and support messages.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.
5. Data storage and security
Your media and account data are stored on secure infrastructure operated by us and by trusted third-party service providers. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it, such as access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep Your Content and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete individual projects, which removes their associated media, and you can delete your account.
When you delete a project or your account, we delete the associated media from active storage. Residual copies may remain briefly in backups or logs before being overwritten in the ordinary course. We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, or security reasons.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR and Québec's Law 25), you have rights over your personal information, including to access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent.
To exercise these rights, contact legal@brollss.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies needed to sign you in and keep your session secure. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 16 (or the higher age of majority where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact legal@brollss.com and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
We are based in Canada, and some of our providers (including AI and cloud providers) may process data in other countries, including outside Canada. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and take reasonable steps to notify you.
12. Contact
For any question about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact legal@brollss.com. Brollss is operated by Brollss (legal entity to be confirmed).
